Dutchess' Rachel Nelson voted MVP of 2010-11 season
May 12, 2011 - Rachel Nelson of Dutchess Community College was voted as the Most Valuable Player of the 2010-11 Softball season. The Freshman Shortstop from Wallkill recorded 12 RBI's and 23 Runs while Batting an average of .413 in 20 games.
First team members include Orange's Samantha Phillips (P), and Chelsea Malzahn (1B); Dutchess' Amber Carozza (2B/P), Catie Niebuhr (RF) and Jessica Mieller (OF); Westchester's Kaitlyn Schmier (P/2B), Stephanie Gaudinier (C), and Francesca Signore (3B/SS); and Ulster's Shana Smith (C).
Five WCC athletes named to NJCAA Region XV Academic Honors
Sept 14, 2010 - Jessica Stewart (Valley Cottage), Lauren Vinci (Mahopac HS, Mahopac), Colleen Lemmy (Ossining HS, Ossining), Kimberly Farmer (Yorktown HS, Yorktown) and Kiah Thomas (Port Chester HS, Port Chester) were named All NJCAA Region XV Academic for Spring 2010.
